MEET SHANNON
Like many of my neighbors, my family and I moved to Rogers because of the small town feel, excellent schools, park and trail network, and family friendly neighborhoods. I’m running for Mayor to ensure our city preserves and protects our unique quality of life in Rogers while doing so in a fiscally responsible manner.
I believe my time as a city council member, employment background, education, and volunteer service as a Rogers Lion and other organizations has provided me with a broad set of financial and leadership skills to objectively analyze city tax and spending policies, as well as execute a vision for how Rogers should develop over the next decade and beyond.
My priorities as Mayor will include increasing communication with residents, advocating for the implementation of our park and trail plan, improving our transportation networks, supporting the creation of new gathering places and events, promoting community engagement, encouraging public safety outreach, and exploring opportunities for fiscally responsible growth.
